Waleed Rais vs Obaid Akel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Isfahan promoted show at Isfahan Baey, Isfahan,  taking place on 11/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Isfahan Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Rais (10 - 1 - 1) who hails from Isfahan, Iran and Obaid Akel(8 - 0) from Isfahan, Iran.  Both Rais and Akel weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rashid Salim, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Javed, Rehan Siddiqui and Dewei Joe.
