Patrick Morando vs Sammy Kinnock

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Coronet Theatre, London,  taking place on 08/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Patrick Morando (5(2) - 0) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Sammy Kinnock(0 - 0) from Luton, UK.  Morando weighed in at 117 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kinnock weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mick Salton, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Winn, Johnny Breckenridge and Fraser Yeatts.

Kinnock is clearly losing his cool here!   He throws a low uppercut...that landed well below the belt! The ref separates the two fighters and tells Kinnock to keep his punches up.  He gives Morando a few minutes to recover.

Morando tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, an overhand left to the head and an overhand right to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kinnock recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Kinnock manages to force Morando into the red corner.  Kinnock is getting frustrated here.   He turns Morando and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Kinnock is looking to close the distance.  Morando lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Morando holds on to his opponent.  Morando is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Morando's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Morando lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head, DROPPING KINNOCK TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Morando!
