Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Gad, Baku,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vasif Rafiq (15(1) - 4) who hails from Ganja, Azerbaijan and Elchin Wahba(9 - 8 - 5) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Rafiq and Wahba weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Shabazz, and the three ringside judges are Shamil Abdurrahmirov, Malik Shabazz and Ahmed Beibutov.
