Santiago Alarcon vs Montego Miranda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Mendoza promoted show at Desiderio Quezada Gym, Mendoza,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Mendoza Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Alarcon (11 - 6 - 2) who hails from Mendoza, Argentina and Montego Miranda(16 - 5) from Mendoza, Argentina.  Both Alarcon and Miranda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cipriano Nepomuceno, and the three ringside judges are Edmundo Cantos, Enzo Dimas and Carlos Cala.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Miranda dabs at his face checking for damage.  Miranda has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Alarcon tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a jab.
