Patrick Weddle vs John Haden

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Michael Malloye Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 12/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Patrick Weddle (3 - 8 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John Haden(10 - 14 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Weddle weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces, while Haden weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Hepburn, and the three ringside judges are Michael Kaplan, David Corrie and Colin McKay.
