Sid Liddell vs Gethin McGowan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Perth Cullen, Perth,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sid Liddell (11 - 4 - 3) who hails from Perth, Australia and Gethin McGowan(4 - 2 - 3) from Perth, Australia.  Liddell weighed in at 167 pounds And 9 ounces, while McGowan weighed in at 167 pounds And 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Dykes, and the three ringside judges are Jack Swavely, Matt Dickins and Billy Neish.  

Round 1: 

McGowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Liddell drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.
