Jooseppi Aromaa vs Mike Kinyonga

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata,  taking place on 02/05/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the WRBA Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jooseppi Aromaa (17(3) - 0 - 2) who hails from Turku, Finland and Mike Kinyonga(21(15) - 1) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Aromaa and Kinyonga weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rohit Sarang, and the three ringside judges are Indra Narayanan, Adnan Mirza and Praveen Rao.
