Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 04/04/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James MacDougall (11(1) - 1) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Noah Flett(12(4) - 5(1) - 2) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both MacDougall and Flett weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tobias Bruce, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Lombardo, Chris Weir and Charlie Cacciari.  

Round 1:
