Yasushi Yanagi vs Isamu Tamura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Fukuoka promoted show at ACROS Arena Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Yasushi Yanagi (6 - 16(2)) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Isamu Tamura(6 - 0) from Toyota, Japan.  Yanagi weighed in at 104 pounds and 4 ounces, while Tamura weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Kamei, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Sakai, Satoshi Murata and Kazuki Shimoda.  

Round 1: 

Tamura tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
