Chris Nelson vs Eti Ronaki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 16/03/2026:

Clearly AI New Zealand-Wellington have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Nelson (14 - 3 - 3) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Eti Ronaki(4 - 2 - 4) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Nelson weighed in at 134 pounds And 7 ounces, while Ronaki weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brad Milner, and the three ringside judges are Oraora Pareraukawa, Paul Redhead and Richie Hughson.
