Neper Camara vs Doug Bower

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Coronet Theatre, London,  taking place on 08/03/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kodak Neper Camara (9(1) - 0 - 1) who hails from Duque de Cazias, Brazil and Doug Bower(2 - 0 - 1) from Dundee, UK.  Both Camara and Bower weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mick Salton, and the three ringside judges are Johnny Breckenridge, Aaron Winn and Fraser Yeatts.

Bower steps inside and manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Camara lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Bower throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Camara ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Camara pushes his forearm into Bower's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Camara about fouling.  
Bower cuts off the ring, trapping Camara on the ropes.  Camara hits home with a cross.  
Bower throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Camara time to recover.
