Syed Merakchi vs Umair Ghannam

Boxing Daily Report from the Sh4rk promoted show at Algiers Fellag, Algiers,  taking place on 15/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Algeria Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal Algérie, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Syed Merakchi (8 - 0) who hails from Oran, Algeria and Umair Ghannam(15 - 2(1)) from Algiers, Algeria.  Merakchi weighed in at 237 pounds And 15 ounces, while Ghannam weighed in at 239 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Gardel, and the three ringside judges are Aftab Mazari, Shayan Diss and Haaris Sendid.
