Lado Atsu vs James Agyeman

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Kuenyehia, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/02/2026:

Clearly AI Ghana-Ashanti have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lado Atsu (6 - 4 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and James Agyeman(8 - 6 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Atsu weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Agyeman weighed in at 111 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Habe, and the three ringside judges are Faraji Anyidoho, Amon Amartey and Scott Acquah.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Agyeman.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
