Eoghan Connelly vs Zacarias Maddry

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at RDS Arena, Dublin,  taking place on 04/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the WRBC Youth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eoghan Connelly (13 - 3) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Zacarias Maddry(19 - 7(2)) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Connelly and Maddry weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dean Napier, and the three ringside judges are Fionn Delaney, Michael Corcoran and Rory Carver.

Maddry is looking to close the distance.  Maddry sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Connelly lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Connelly lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!

Maddry attempts to land a left hook, but Connelly sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Connelly steps to the outside.  Maddry is on target with an overhand left.

Connelly finds the target with a jab.  
Connelly strikes his opponents body with a jab.  Connelly tries to land a jab, but Maddry blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.

Connelly SLAMS a nasty cross into his opponents face.  MADDRY IS HURT!  
Connelly knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Connelly lands a WICKED right uppercut.  MADDRY IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Connelly!
