Marjun Onate vs Angel Baxa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata promoted show at Isidro Avellaneda Gym, San Felipe de Puerto Plata,  taking place on 18/03/2026:

Clearly AI Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Puerto Plata Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marjun Onate (5 - 6 - 5) who hails from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and Angel Baxa(9 - 2) from San Felipe de Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.  Both Onate and Baxa weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Henao, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Quiles, Santiago Quiles and Diego Pino.
