Robert Vann vs James Douglas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-Alberta promoted show at Calgary Ruxton, Calgary,  taking place on 16/03/2026:

Clearly AI Canada-Alberta have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada-Alberta Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Vann (5 - 0) who hails from Calgary, Canada and James Douglas(8 - 6 - 4) from Edmonton, Canada.  Vann weighed in at 242 pounds and 11 ounces, while Douglas weighed in at 239 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Haddow, and the three ringside judges are Mark Storer, Dylan Humiston and Louis Cauldwell.
