Varil Paquin vs Thierry de Custine

Boxing Daily Report from the Asosyasyon Boxer Revolisyonè Etazini promoted show at Carrefour Mader, Carrefour,  taking place on 19/02/2026:

Clearly Asosyasyon Boxer Revolisyonè Etazini have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Haiti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Varil Paquin (7 - 9(1) - 6) who hails from Delmas, Haiti and Thierry de Custine(5 - 12 - 5) from Delmas, Haiti.  Both Paquin and de Custine weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Franchot Castile, and the three ringside judges are Charles Filipacchi, Phillippe Ledoyen and Colville Dumas.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as de Custine dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to de Custine.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
