Usi Ayeh vs Mike Nguaku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Mulder, Soweto,  taking place on 19/02/2026:

Clearly AI South Africa-Gauteng have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Usi Ayeh (8 - 8 - 2) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Mike Nguaku(11 - 11 - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Ayeh weighed in at 111 pounds and 11 ounces, while Nguaku weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Khumalo, and the three ringside judges are Lisimba Jali, Tshepo Dikgacoi and Vince Van Deventer.  

Round 1: 

Nguaku closes the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Ayeh's ribs.
