Gan Poo vs Waqas Mohammad

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Tehran Semaan, Tehran,  taking place on 19/02/2026:

Clearly AI Iran-Tehran have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran-Tehran Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gan Poo (1 - 1 - 3) who hails from Tehran, Iran and Waqas Mohammad(5 - 14 - 6) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Poo and Mohammad weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Ayoub, and the three ringside judges are Hsin Wun, Xin Tjia and Aseem Bawa.
