Boxing Daily Report from the United Boxing promoted show at Preston Firman, Preston,  taking place on 06/04/2026:

Clearly United Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Agon Velo (14(2) - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Patrick Walsh(4 - 7) from London, UK.  Both Velo and Walsh weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Housler, and the three ringside judges are Matt Ryan, Paul McComb and Iain Clark.

Velo throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Velo clinches his opponent.  Walsh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Walsh pushes his forearm into Velo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Velo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Walsh now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Walsh is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Velo's groin!  The ref stops the action and tells Walsh to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Velo time to recover.
