Barry Eagleson vs Seth Cecil

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 28/02/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Barry Eagleson (1 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Seth Cecil(0 - 2) from San Bernardino, USA.  Both Eagleson and Cecil weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Ogle, and the three ringside judges are Mike Stobie, Kyle Ormiston and Mike Stobie.  

Round 1: 

Eagleson lands a jab to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Cecil tries to keep the action at long range.  Eagleson hits home with a cross.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cecil's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Cecil's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Eagleson steps inside.  Eagleson pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Cecil's ribs.  As Cecil tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Eagleson dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Eagleson is on target with a left hook.  Eagleson throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Cecil throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Eagleson connects with a right hook.  
Eagleson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Cecil lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Eagleson drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Eagleson advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
Eagleson advances into close range.  Eagleson sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Eagleson is looking to close the distance.  Cecil sidesteps to the right of his opponent andAs Cecil tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Eagleson.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Eagleson steps inside.  Cecil tries to land a right uppercut, but Eagleson dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Eagleson finds the target with a jab.  
Eagleson advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 4, lets listen in on the corners...Eagleson's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.
