Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Alexandria promoted show at Alexandria Ismail, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Egypt Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Abdul Fathy (14 - 1) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Waleed Zaidi(14(1) - 2) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Fathy weighed in at 174 pounds and 3 ounces, while Zaidi weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Abdel-Shafy, and the three ringside judges are Kashif Elkholy, Yasin Eldegheidy and Yasin Emara.
