Polo Kugblenu vs Dave Sekyi

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Mohammadi, Kumasi,  taking place on 18/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Polo Kugblenu (13(4) - 4 - 2) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Dave Sekyi(12 - 8 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Kugblenu and Sekyi weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Louis Nkrumah, and the three ringside judges are Connor Salifu, Scott Acquah and Paul Kwakye.  

Round 1: 

Kugblenu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kugblenu advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to Sekyi's body.
