Hitoshi Hayashi vs Nori Koda

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Oshita, Hiroshima,  taking place on 20/02/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Hiroshima have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hitoshi Hayashi (9 - 0) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Nori Koda(6 - 11 - 3) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Both Hayashi and Koda weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Nakata, and the three ringside judges are Takeo Higashi, Yasushi Saito and Goro Tengan.
