Eiji Ogawa vs Ichiro Kataoka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Kazuhiko Okabe Gym, Tokorozawa,  taking place on 20/02/2026:

Clearly AI Japan-Saitama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Ogawa (7 - 7 - 2) who hails from Tokorozawa, Japan and Ichiro Kataoka(7 - 8 - 1) from Tokorozawa, Japan.  Ogawa weighed in at 118 pounds, while Kataoka weighed in at 117 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yuichi Mihara, and the three ringside judges are Yuji Kobayashi, Ichiro Tsuchiya and Yuji Yanagi.
