Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Chitungwiza Jaure, Chitungwiza,  taking place on 21/03/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Banji Sobukwe (16(2) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Duante Makwarimba(16(1) - 5) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Sobukwe and Makwarimba weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Patrick Chung, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Mahachi, Steven Joubert and Richie Mujuru.
