Dai Huggett vs Jake Pageau

Boxing Daily Report from the Elite Prizefighters promoted show at Ice Sheffield, Sheffield,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dai Huggett (9 - 0) who hails from London, UK and Jake Pageau(1 - 1) from London, UK.  Huggett weighed in at 117 pounds and 2 ounces, while Pageau weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew McReynolds, and the three ringside judges are Rodric Valentine, Mike Sconce and Isaac MacIver.

Pageau tries to land a left hook, but Huggett parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Pageau's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pageau's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Pageau's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Pageau's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
