Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Kupittaan j��halli, Turku,  taking place on 14/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Yle TV2, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Miodrag Brcic (2 - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Usko Ilonen(0 - 2 - 1) from Vantaa, Finland.  Brcic weighed in at 223 pounds, while Ilonen weighed in at 248 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kosti Ihalainen, and the three ringside judges are Eerikki Isotalo, Elmer Karppanen and Elmer Karppanen.

Brcic steps inside and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  Brcic clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Brcic pushes his forearm into Ilonen's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Brcic to stop fouling.

Brcic advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Brcic lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Brcic advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Ilonen sidesteps and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Ilonen.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.

Brcic is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Brcic lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING ILONEN TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Brcic!
