Shankar Toor vs Amer Wali

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Tehran promoted show at Esteghlal Hotel, Tehran,  taking place on 22/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Iran Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shankar Toor (16 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Shiraz, Iran and Amer Wali(8 - 3 - 5) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Toor and Wali weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Sharifi, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Jabara, Haaris Bokhari and Irfan Hussain.
