Ashoka Banik vs Asif Abdo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Maharashtra promoted show at Aftab Azizi Gym, Mumbai,  taking place on 20/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the India-Maharashtra Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ashoka Banik (7 - 5 - 2) who hails from Mumbai, India and Asif Abdo(9 - 1) from Mumbai, India.  Banik weighed in at 139 pounds And 12 ounces, while Abdo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Darshan Devshah, and the three ringside judges are Ananta Goswami, Hassan Hares and Rehman Sharifi.
