David Couts vs Malcolm Haig

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Saint Andrew promoted show at New Kingston Steenson, New Kingston,  taking place on 22/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jamaica-Saint Andrew Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Couts (5 - 2(1)) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Malcolm Haig(8 - 5 - 2) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Couts and Haig weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Nichol, and the three ringside judges are James Wands, John Nichol and David Duris.
