Ichiro Oshima vs Ryo Shimamoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Sam Promotions promoted show at Takeshi Oda Gym, Fukuoka,  taking place on 21/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ichiro Oshima (18(2) - 1) who hails from Kitakyushu, Japan and Ryo Shimamoto(5 - 7 - 3) from Kurume, Japan.  Oshima weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Shimamoto weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hiroki Sawa, and the three ringside judges are Akira Oshita, Kaede Kuba and Akira Nishimura.
