Sancho Munguia vs Santiago Magdaleno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Joaquin Vinal Gym, Guadalajara,  taking place on 23/02/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Jalisco have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Jalisco Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sancho Munguia (16 - 5 - 4) who hails from Zapopan, Mexico and Santiago Magdaleno(7 - 5 - 1) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Munguia weighed in at 122 pounds, while Magdaleno weighed in at 121 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Machuca, and the three ringside judges are Zacarias Olguin, Angel Chavera and Santiago Para.
