Nicandro Caldera vs Jesus Muniz

Boxing Daily Report from the Djan Promotions promoted show at Dario Marrufo Gym, Puebla,  taking place on 23/02/2026:

Clearly Djan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Puebla Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Caldera (8 - 7 - 5) who hails from Puebla, Mexico and Jesus Muniz(4 - 10 - 3) from Puebla, Mexico.  Both Caldera and Muniz weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Barrera, and the three ringside judges are Jesus Tierno, Santiago Chavis and Fanuco Barrera.
