Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at John J. Lee Amphitheater, New Haven,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Matteson (7 - 0) who hails from Wichita, USA and Dan Dauphin(4 - 2) from Shreveport, USA.  Both Matteson and Dauphin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Liddell, and the three ringside judges are Peter Snape, Gus Phemister and Hayden Blacketer.  

Round 1: 

Matteson gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Dauphin's body.  
Dauphin pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.
