Khalid Riaz vs Cipriano Pelaez

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai,  taking place on 18/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the IRBF Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khalid Riaz (16(8) - 1(1)) who hails from Howrah, India and Cipriano Pelaez(21(16) - 1(1) - 1) from Córdoba, Argentina.  Riaz weighed in at 256 pounds and 12 ounces, while Pelaez weighed in at 254 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kishore Dadwal, and the three ringside judges are Danyaal Ghazal, Zuffur Diab and Darshan Devshah.
