Zelipe Sanchez vs Zacarias Montellano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Distrito Capital promoted show at Sancho Daniel Gym, Bogota,  taking place on 26/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia-Distrito Capital Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zelipe Sanchez (4 - 12 - 2) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Zacarias Montellano(8 - 2 - 5) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Sanchez and Montellano weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jesus Montilla, and the three ringside judges are Manny Soza, Carlos Bocanegra and Seferino Enrique.  

Round 1: 

Montellano closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Sanchez steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Sanchez feints a right hook, and then connects with a cross.  
Sanchez finds the target with a jab.  
Montellano pivots to the side of his opponent.  Sanchez lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Sanchez is on target with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Montellano's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Montellano lands a right hook.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sanchez dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Montellano is on target with a jab.  
Sanchez is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Montellano is on target with an overhand left.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sanchez's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sanchez is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Montellano attempts to land a jab, but Sanchez slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Montellano lands a jab.  
Montellano cuts off the ring, trapping Sanchez on the ropes.  Sanchez connects with a left uppercut.  
Sanchez lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
