Gig Salido vs Gervasio Savala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Mexico State promoted show at Ecatepec Zayas, Ecatepec,  taking place on 26/03/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Mexico State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Mexico State Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gig Salido (6 - 12 - 2) who hails from Naucalpan, Mexico and Gervasio Savala(8 - 6(1) - 2) from Tlalnepantla, Mexico.  Salido weighed in at 135 pounds, while Savala weighed in at 134 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dario Montes, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Quintana, Jose Montana and Sierra Zorrilla.
