Venacio Amescua vs Antonio Almodovar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 24/03/2026:

Clearly AI Mexico-Tamaulipas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Amescua (10 - 0) who hails from Matamoros, Mexico and Antonio Almodovar(3 - 7 - 1) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Both Amescua and Almodovar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Alvarez, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Llorente, Dario Zepeda and Dario Zepeda.
