Lorenzo Abrantes vs Jax Berrones

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 26/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lorenzo Abrantes (7(1) - 1) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Jax Berrones(6 - 5 - 9) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Abrantes weighed in at 236 pounds and 5 ounces, while Berrones weighed in at 232 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Armando, and the three ringside judges are Diego Toro, Alejandro Rebolledo and Selestino Berlanga.
