Juan Cubero vs Alejandro Morua

Boxing Daily Report from the Handila Promotions promoted show at Santiago de los Caba Enriques, Santiago de los Caballeros,  taking place on 27/03/2026:

Clearly Handila Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Dominican Republic-Santiago Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Cubero (3 - 9 - 6) who hails from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic and Alejandro Morua(4 - 8 - 3) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Cubero weighed in at 130 pounds, while Morua weighed in at 129 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Coca, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Alonso, Quin Salido and Roman Avendano.
