Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Waikato promoted show at Hamilton Roseberry, Hamilton,  taking place on 27/03/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Waikato Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dan Fail (13 - 4 - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Brett Porteous(2 - 4 - 1) from Hamilton, New Zealand.  Both Fail and Porteous weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Darnley, and the three ringside judges are George Irihapete, Aika Rako and Leeroy Moreland.
