Segun Ekandem vs Connor Igboananike

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Edo State promoted show at Danyaal Mohiuddin Gym, Uromi,  taking place on 27/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Edo State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Segun Ekandem (6 - 6) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Connor Igboananike(4 - 5 - 3) from Benin City, Nigeria.  Ekandem weighed in at 250 pounds and 8 ounces, while Igboananike weighed in at 239 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Godfrey Adejobi, and the three ringside judges are Brendan Lasbrey, Alen Beete and Ike Elegbede.
