Marques Jamin vs Jay Salifu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Sembene, Kumasi,  taking place on 22/04/2026:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Ghana-Ashanti Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Marques Jamin (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Jay Salifu(3 - 14 - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Jamin and Salifu weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Panyin, and the three ringside judges are Chris Asante, Bob Antwi and Atif Hussain.
