Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/04/2026:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merk Buys (18(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Nicholas Raith(10 - 5(1) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Portmore, Jamaica.  Both Buys and Raith weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Van Jaarsveld, and the three ringside judges are Kyrone Letsholonyane, Bernardus Hertzog and Tshepo Nqakula.
