Rehman Abed vs Amer Zaher

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kaduna State promoted show at Kaduna Ogunkoya, Kaduna,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rehman Abed (10 - 4 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Amer Zaher(14 - 1 - 1) from Kaduna, Nigeria.  Both Abed and Zaher weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mudashiru Akanji, and the three ringside judges are Umair Farooq, Ifeanyi Chukwudi and Efe Wushishi.  

Round 1: 

Abed pivots to the side of his opponent.  Zaher lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
