Kook-young Yi vs Young-cheol Joo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-Seoul promoted show at Jin-hyeon In Gym, Seoul,  taking place on 28/02/2026:

Clearly AI South Korea-Seoul have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Seoul Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kook-young Yi (5 - 8 - 1) who hails from Seoul, South Korea and Young-cheol Joo(6 - 4 - 2) from Seoul, South Korea.  Both Yi and Joo weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eun-sun Roe, and the three ringside judges are Jin-hyeon Um, Sun-tae Choo and Kook-young Shin.
