Afanas Mirdjavadov vs Sergey Najafov

Boxing Daily Report from the Akafia Promotions promoted show at Dushanbe Galiacberov, Dushanbe,  taking place on 01/03/2026:

Clearly Akafia Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Tajikistan-Dushanbe Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Afanas Mirdjavadov (5 - 9 - 2) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Sergey Najafov(5 - 4 - 1) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Both Mirdjavadov and Najafov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Igor Kazbekow, and the three ringside judges are Lazar Yalgondin, Toghrul Azimzade and Hamid Quadri.  

Round 1: 

Najafov advances into close range and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Mirdjavadov parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
