David Kennedy vs Kashif Halim

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Pavillon de Juenesse, Quebec City,  taking place on 21/05/2026:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Kennedy (19(5) - 0) who hails from Spanish Town, Jamaica and Kashif Halim(19(2) - 4(4)) from Ife, Nigeria.  Both Kennedy and Halim weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Varocher Painchaud, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Michael Oliver and Henry Popkin.
