Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Edo State promoted show at Chileshe Gym, Benin City,  taking place on 28/03/2026:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Nigeria Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Godfrey Chinedu (12 - 1) who hails from Benin City, Nigeria and Gbolahan Ezeji(15(1) - 1) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Chinedu weighed in at 174 pounds and 4 ounces, while Ezeji weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Lasbrey, and the three ringside judges are John Okri, Godfrey Adejobi and Prince Ekpoki.
